The organic Rankine cycle (ORC) is an effective technology for power generation from temperatures of up to 400 °C and capacities 10 MWel. use solar irradiation driving ORC a promising renewable energy-based due the high compatibility between operating thermal collector technologies temperature needs cycle. objective this review paper present discuss operation principles solar-ORC wide range systems that have been studied in literature. Various can drive are investigated, such as flat plate collector, evacuated tube compound parabolic trough linear Fresnel reflectors, dish concentrators towers. Both simulation studies experimental investigations included study. Hybrid different storage techniques also examined detail.
